The Pollis is a brand new social network designed to connect people to
their favorite content while letting bloggers control the promotion and
distribution of their content for free.
Every blogger creates a profile page for their blog where they can post links
to their content.
Users can subscribe to any blog they’d like and all updates from blogs they
follow will appear in their newsfeed.
The site is centered on the blog catalog, which is separated into different
categories and blogs are ranked from high to low in these categories
according to their blog score.
This blog score is determined entirely by two simple inputs from the
community: Every user can rank their 10 favorite blogs and they can also
give blogs a 1-5 star rating.
The more high ratings a blog gets, the higher it appears in the catalog.
Our mission: to provide a free, live, and personalized newspaper for our
users.
